Your data stays yours, and stays in scope
Troopr inherits the access rules you already run, reads only what it needs, never trains on your data, and shows you what it knows.
Inherits your Jira permissions
Authentication is via OAuth and respects your existing Jira permissions. People see only what they already have access to, with SSO and role-based access control available.
No training on your data
Troopr never uses your data to train models. Your work stays your work.
No raw message hoarding
Troopr derives and persists a structured set of facts about how your team works. Managers can see, correct, and delete what it knows; each person has a private view of their own.
A clear read scope
Troopr reads team channels, connected work tools, and a person's own shared activity. It does not read other people's private direct messages.
Least-privilege production access
Production access is limited and granted only with signed permission, reviewed every quarter.
Customer-facing audit logs
Logs of access and administrative actions, available to your team for security and compliance review.
Already on Jira Data Center? Bring Troopr through the move to Cloud
Atlassian is ending Jira Data Center support on March 28, 2029, with sales and licence expansions for existing Data Center customers available until March 30, 2028. Many engineering orgs will run Data Center and Jira Cloud side by side during that transition.
Troopr's Enterprise self-hosted deployment runs as a Docker image inside your own network and can connect to a Jira Data Center instance, so your team keeps the same Slack-based standups, sync, and reporting on Data Center today and stays on it without disruption as you cut over to Cloud.
This is handled as part of your Enterprise agreement. Talk to us about your migration ->

How large engineering orgs run on Troopr
~15,300 employees, e-commerce. Tried building Slack bots in-house, found it costly and distracting, then switched to Troopr to bring Jira context and actions into Slack.
380k eng hours/yr reclaimed
Distributed engineering. Runs weekly async sync-ups through Troopr Check-ins, prompting each person on their own timezone, and was cleared by their internal security team.
82% reduction in status-meeting time
~6,600 employees. Adopted Troopr org-wide to cut the context-switching between Slack and Jira.
45% less context-switching overhead
Built to clear your security review
The privacy posture is a precondition of the product, not a later add-on. It's what makes an AI-native model safe to put in front of your team and your auditors.
- No training on customer data. Your work never trains a model.
- No storage of raw messages. Troopr derives and persists a structured set of facts about how your team works, not the raw firehose.
- Clear scope. Team channels, connected work tools, and a person's own shared activity. Troopr does not read other people's private DMs.
- OAuth and Jira permissions. Troopr authenticates via OAuth and never bypasses your Jira project, issue, or field permissions.
